Book Recommendations!

In addition to our study of specific Scripture verses throughout the semester, here's a list of the books I recommend as good reads to delve into the specific topic of creativity and spirituality. You can find all these on Amazon.com to get more info and read reviews if interested!

Enter the Worship Circle by Ben Pasley

The Creative Call by Janice Elsheimer

The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron

Biblical Psychology by Oswald Chambers

Spirit, Soul, and Body by Lester Sumrall

...P.S. Has anyone read Blue Like Jazz? I hear that's a good one. I wonder if it, too, might also fit with our topic...

Yes. Big ups to any Donald Miller, especially Blue Like Jazz. It's more about his personal struggles than artisitc struggles, but very worth reading.

Yeah! Good to know! I picked up on the same thing as I skimmed over it at Barnes and Noble the other night! ~ Heather :)

BLJ is an amazing book. After I read it I bought several copies and gave them out to friend's of mine. I actually have no idea what you are asking about the book, but I saw the title so I would throw in my thoughts!

There is a small devotional book entitled "The Art of the Soul" by Joy Sawyer that is amazing. It utilizes stories from almost every field within art to send home very poignant messages. I highly recommend it!
